Dear Friends and Family,

A quick note for an update.  It's Friday morning and we are trying to get the boys off to school, pack up for a weekend camping trip, and head to UCSF for Quincy's radiation simulation appointment.

The great news is we are done with chemo; Quincy did it!  Her last treatment (round 15) was Sept. 23-25.  Of course we had the follow up fever and hospital stay Oct. 2-4, but  that was it.  She had her end-of-treatment scans (bone scan, MRI, and CT scan) and for the most part they were really good.  The MRI and CT of her chest/abdomen/pelvis were normal - meaning there continues to be no tumor in those areas.  The bone scan showed there is still remaining hot spots in her arms and confirms that she will need the already planned radiation therapy to her upper left arm and right forearm.  It will be another six weeks of radiation starting Oct. 14, no hospital stays, just back-and-forth each day.  And after what Quincy has been through the last 11 months, this will be quite manageable.

Nanny (Lisa's Mom) went back to New Jersey last Sunday, after helping us for seven weeks.  We miss her very much, especially as we try to get back to a normal family routine.

Thank you and God Bless,

Roger and Lisa
