On the Monday after Labor Day, Quincy worked her magic and sent very much needed cooler weather for at the 5th Annual Benefit for the Quincy Lee Foundation.  It was a nice break from the hot days and nights of the summer of 2013!  As usual, family and friends gathered for the good cause and filled The Parker House porch to sample the delicious delicacies from local restaurants and enjoy the unlimited beer and wine.  The restaurants this year included: The Parker House Raw Bar, The Column's, The Boathouse, Brandl, The Cabin, Edgar's Pub, Four Winds, Freedman's Bakery,  Green Planet Coffee, Langusta Lounge, 507 Main, Mcgillicuddy's, Mossuto's Market, Pastaio, 709 Point Beach, and Smith's in Philadelphia!
Each year we are astounded by the generosity of our guests and hosts, but this year truly amazed us.  For 5 years in a row, the hard working gals and guys of The Parker House have always donated their tips in addition to working the benefit.  This year they went above and beyond and were the lucky winners of the 50/50 raffle,  as they all went in together on tickets.  With no hesitation, once they found out they had won, they proceeded to donate their winnings to the QLF.  The above picture shows the incredible staff with owner Frank Matthews and manager Tony Sofia.  A big grateful thank you to all the staff at The Parker House!
