On September 14, 2009, Henry Wright's Heart 1st Annual Benefit paid tribute to Henry Wright, the much loved owner of the Parker House in Sea Girt, New Jersey, who passed away unexpectedly last year. Because of Henry's and his business partner, Frank Matthews' generous nature, the founders and friends of Henry Wright's Heart, decided to designate the Quincy Lee Foundation as the benefactor of the evenings proceeds. Highlights of the night were the delicious food prepared by Jersey Shore restaurants, three bands, and terrific silent auction items, including lifetime passes to "the Stone Pony" and a share in the ownership of Quincy Lee the Racehorse! It was a terrific event for pediatric cancer research. A big thank you to Frank Matthews, owner of the Parker House, Tim and Brendan Smith, founders of the Henry Wright's Heart Foundation and all our wonderful family and friends at the Jersey Shore who helped in making this event such a success!
