Every year on the second Sunday in December there is a "Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony" to honor all children who have died. As candles are lit at 7p.m. in each time zone around the world, hundreds of thousands of people create a wave of light, commemorating and honoring children in a way that transcends cultural, ethnic, religious, and political boundaries.
